My Dad is sick

Last Wednesday my Dad was admitted to hospital with pneumonia and a suspected minor heart attack. On Friday they pumped a litre of fluid from his lungs. So he was drowning here at home! His breathing was so raspy and he wasn't able to get his breath. He has now been on oxygen for a few days and I expect he will be in hospital for at least another week...

We are saving a bigger emergency fund from $1000 to $2500. Which means we only put $510 to the mortgage last Thursday...

    Good idea to save for the bigger EF! Hope your Dad gets better soon. Goes to show you anything can happen and an EF is sooo important!
